Features
The Takisawa TT Series is a parallel twin-spindle, twin-turret CNC lathe.The spindles can be controlled independently in machining. The CM specification can integrate the processes of workpieces involving both turning and milling processes.
Key benefits:
- High Production Throughput:
By machining on two spindles simultaneously, the machine can produce twice the number of parts compared to a single spindle machine in the same timeframe, significantly boosting production capacity.
With simultaneous machining operations on both spindles, the overall cycle time per part is significantly decreased, leading to faster production rates.
The gantry system automatically transfers workpieces between spindles, eliminating the need for manual handling and reducing potential errors during part transfer.
Enables machining of intricate parts with features on both sides of the workpiece by utilizing both spindles for simultaneous operations.
Allows for secondary machining operations on the previously machined side of a part by transferring it to the other spindle.
The gantry system readily integrates with robotic loading and unloading mechanisms for fully automated production lines.
Compared to using two separate machines, a twin spindle with a gantry takes up less floor space.
